Rebecca Mcbryde

Rebecca (Becky) Ann McBryde, 76, of Kerrville, passed away on May 29, 2019 at Memory Care of New Braunfels. She was born in Longview to Roy Wilson White and Louise Becker White on August 26, 1942. She married R. Nowlin McBryde on July 31, 1965 in Junction, Texas. \r\n\r\nBecky attended Junction High School and later graduated from Texas Women's University. Becky taught school for several years before staying home with her children. She was an avid crafter and gardener, pursuing a wide array of mediums including sewing, toll painting, and rug hooking. Later in life she became very passionate about Standard Schnauzers, and participated in shows and agility competitions across Texas and the Midwest. \r\n\r\nBecky is preceded in death by her parents and her husband.\r\n\r\nBecky is survived by her daughter Carol Wheeler and her husband Travis of New Braunfels, daughter Amy Howell and her husband Phil of New Braunfels, grandchildren Katie and Kyle Wheeler and Emma and Cara Howell.\r\n\r\nFuneral services will be held 10:00am Saturday, June 1st at Grimes Funeral Chapels with the Reverend Monte Marshall officiating. \r\n\r\nMemorials can be made to the Standard Schnauzer Donor Advised Fund at tinyurl.com/SSCAfund or to the Christian Women's Job Corps of Kerr County at 1140 Broadway, Kerrville, TX 78028.
