Ralph Hardee

Ralph Preston Hardee passed from this life on Sunday, February 7, 2016 in San Antonio, Texas.\r\n \r\nHe was born August 28, 1939, the fourth child of James Julius Hardee and Lottie Mae Sykes Hardee in Kerrville, Texas. His wife, Myra Joy Young Hardee, and his parents preceded him in death. To this union, two children were born: one daughter, Ingrid LaVerne Hardee, Decatur, Georgia, and one son, Marty Ricardo Hardee (Rhonda), Dallas, Texas. He was blessed with two grandchildren: grandson, Brian Hardee (Tiffany and daughters: Destiny and Jazmin) and granddaughter, April Hardee and three great grandsons: De'Marzai, De'Vonte, and De'Andre.\r\n \r\nRalph attended Barnett Chapel United Church all of his life and was president of the United Methodist Men. He graduated from Doyle High School in 1957. Ralph had several jobs until he decided to start his own business - \r\nRalph Hardee American United Insurance Agency, which he worked until his illness.\r\n \r\nRalph is also survived by two loving brothers, Raymond Julius Hardee, Kerrville, Texas and Harold Williams Hardee, Stone Mountain, Georgia; three sisters, Dorothy Lee Hardee Harper, Baldwin Park, California, Marilyn Hardee Morrow, Lithonia, Georgia, and Shirley Jean Hardee Dones, Los Angeles, California. Also, several nieces and nephews survive him.\r\n \r\nVisitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. at Grimes Funeral Chapels on Friday, February 12, 2016.\r\n \r\nServices will be at Grimes Funeral Chapels, Saturday, February, 13, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. officiated by The Rev. Allen Noah. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories North Cemetery.\r\n \r\n
