Rachel Michelle Fillingame, age 21, lost her battle with a rare autoimmune disease on Monday, March 16, 2015.\r\nBorn in Charlottesville, Virginia, on July 4, 1993, Rachel is survived by her parents, Fred "Pee Wee" Fillingame and Gina Uecker Fillingame; one brother, Anthony Lee Fillingame of Kerrville; Opa and Oma, Emil and Linda Uecker of Johnson City, Texas; grandfather, Fred E. Fillingame Jr.; a favorite aunt and uncle, Tee and Pamela Finley of Mineral, Virginia; Aunt & Uncle, Patricia & Brandon Brock; uncle, Cullen H. Uecker of Kerrville; and numerous cousins that loved her very much.\r\n She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Jennifer Lee Fillingame.\r\n Rachel was employed by Le Meilleur's RV and Truck Repair. She loved life, loved to dance, loved music and making people laugh. She brought so much joy to her family and will be greatly missed. She always thought of others before herself. At 21, she was amazingly brave and strong and ready to meet her Lord.\r\n The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 19, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Grimes Funeral Chapels.\r\n A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Stonewall, TX.\r\n
