Peter Buckley Casey of Kerrville, TX passed away on Wednesday, November 28th, 2018 at the age of 72. He was born in San Antonio, TX to Dorothy Buckley Casey and Jack Denike on March 12th, 1946. \r\n\r\nPeter received his master of business administration degree from UTSA and was a CPA for over 40 years in Houston and later in Kerrville, when he moved there with his wife and two daughters in 1994. Peter was active in the Catholic Church, volunteered with the Kerrville Folk Festival and was instrumental in the creation of the St. Vincent de Paul thrift shop and food pantry on Broadway. He was an avid reader and craftsman, with a never-ending curiosity. He enjoyed his yearly silent retreat and attempting to make the nuns laugh. He loved good storytellers and telling stories. Peter did not simply visit this world. \r\n\r\nPeter is survived by his daughters, Mollie Buckley Casey and Dorothy Ann Casey; his sisters, Nancy Jo Casey Griffin and Jo Ann Casey Cummings; his brother, John Edward Casey and by the mother of his children and guardian angel, Denise Renee LeTard. \r\n\r\nVisitation will be from 3-5pm on Sunday, December 2nd at Grimes Funeral Chapels. \r\n\r\nThe family of Peter wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all the wonderful people who have shared meals and their table with him over the past few years, Ziggy and the staff of Peterson Regional Medical Center.\r\n\r\n
