Perry Lee Wood, age 61, of Kerrville, passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2017, at his residence. He was born on March 14, 1956, in Rapid City, South Dakota, to Jerry and June Stone Wood. On March 24, 1975, he married Susie Maubey in Kerrville. \r\n \r\nLee was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He owned and operated Lee's Main Street Chevron in the 90's. He was also a longtime service tech for Culligan in Kerrville. Lee was also a huge NASCAR fan. \r\n \r\nHe is survived by his wife, Susie Wood of Kerrville; daughter, April Turner of Kerrville; son, Jeremy Wood and wife Sophia of Center Point; sisters, Starla Lane-Garcia, Debra Lane, Dena Brethalet, Karen Lewis, and Anna Marie Van Buskirk; brother, Terry Wood and wife Cindy; aunt, Sandra Wood; grandchildren, Brandon Turner, Cameron Turner, Nayeli Wood, Hailee Wood, and Destiny Turner. \r\n\r\nHe was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and June Lane, and Jerry Wood; and two sisters, Jennifer Wood and Paula Ahern. \r\n \r\nA memorial service will be held at 1 PM, Monday, July 31, 2017 at Grimes Funeral Chapels, with Pastor Joe Taylor officiating.
