Peggy Schlottman of Center Point, TX went to be with the Lord Thursday morning, April 2nd at 12:51am in Kerrville. She was born in Humphreys County, Miss. on August 6, 1942 to the late Lee O'Neal Breland and Dorothy Davis Gary. Peggy married Ronnie Schlottman in Corpus Christi, TX on January 15, 1972. Peggy had friends from all over the world that loved her and cherished her friendship. \r\n \r\nShe was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Comfort, TX and was active in their Bible Study classes. Peggy was also a member of "Sew What???" - a local affiliate of the Hill Country Quilt Guild. For the past 20 years, Peggy was passionate about researching the genealogy of her family and volunteered with the Kerrville Genealogical Society.\r\n \r\nPeggy enjoyed watching the birds feeding from her feeders in the morning from her porch while having her morning coffee. She also loved attending her grandchildren's concerts and sporting events. She was selfless in her generous giving of time and assistance for family and friends in need. Together with Ronnie, she would go anywhere and doing whatever was needed to help others.\r\n \r\nShe is preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy and Lee; and her sisters, Shirley McDaniel and Barbara Jean Heist. She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Ronnie Schlottman; her children, Stephen Smith (Sherri) of Mathis, TX, Tina Wedgewood (Roy) of Las Vegas, NV, and Todd Schlottman (Kristine) of Round Rock, TX; grandchildren, Heather Randolph (Eric), Jaime Daniels, Drew Wedgewood, Sydney and Chance Smith, Riley, Jared and Caleb Schlottman; five great-grandchildren; and Step-Mother, Gladys Breland.\r\n \r\nThe family will greet guests at a visitation at 6 pm on Tuesday, April 7th at Grimes Funeral Chapels, followed by recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7 pm. The funeral Mass will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Comfort, TX on Wednesday, April 8th at noon. \r\n \r\n[contact-form-7 id="73" title="Send Condolences"]
