On February 22nd 2017, Peggy Robinson lost her battle with Alzheimer's. Lee Robinson said, "goodbye" to a supportive wife of 49 years, Steven and Jill lost a loving mother who made all of their childhood interests and dreams possible, Rilynn and Landri will miss a doting grandmother, and everything green is left wanting for one of their more devoted caretakers. \r\n \r\nPeggy met her high school sweetheart, Lee, in their hometown of Cameron, Texas. After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Baylor University, Peggy and Lee began building a life, a family, and innumerable memories. A career in the Air Force and with American Airlines would take her family from Del Rio, Abilene, Dover (Delaware), Enterprise (Alabama) and Chicago. Prior to retiring to Kerrville, Peggy called Dallas, Texas, "home" for thirty years. \r\n \r\nPeggy enjoyed many activities but her one true passion was for gardening; from her rose garden to her African violets to her beloved tomato plants. Peggy spent many hours outside planning and caring for her many house plants, landscaping and garden. With a zeal for being active, Peggy was ever involved in bowling, tennis and clogging. In the spirit of all things sports, you only had to spend a fall, Sunday afternoon with Peggy to appreciate the place the Cowboys and "Troy baby" held in her heart. \r\n \r\nAs a devoted mother, Peggy gave many hours to PTA, Cub Scouts, Gymnastics and other school actives in support of her children. Peggy was an amazing person with a joy for life, friends, and travel.\r\n \r\nPeggy was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Vivian Schiller; her sister Nancy Kyle. She is survived by her husband Lee Robinson, sister Linda Smith, children Steven Robinson and Tracie Jill Perkins, grandchildren Landri and Rilynn Robinson, daughter-in-law Angie Robinson and son-in-law Bryan Perkins.\r\n \r\nThe family would like to thank the many members of Peterson Hospice for the care, easing and support through these times and the staff of Villagio of Kerrville.\r\n \r\nMemorial Services for Peggy will be held Friday March 10, 2017 at 11:00 AM Grimes Funeral Chapels, 728 Jefferson, Kerrville Texas, 78028. \r\n \r\nMemorial donations to the Alzheimer's Association www.alz.org can be made in her name, The Peggy S.
