Peggy Jo Benson Moore of Kerrville peacefully went to be with the Lord on January 13, 2017 at the age of 78. She was born on May 13, 1938 in Dallas, Texas. After attending high school at San Marcos Baptist Academy, Peggy went on to attend Baylor University. She then married Thomas Jasper (Jack) Moore III on February 28, 1959 in Hunt, Texas.\r\n \r\nPeggy was preceded in death by her parents, Adele "Gran" Forrester Benson and Joseph "Pops" Herron Benson. Peggy, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, is survived by her husband Jack; two daughters, Debbie Flores and husband Stephen, and Joanie Weeks and husband Jerry. Peggy was lovingly known as "Nenaw" to her grandchildren; Katie and Kyle Ingram, Karen and Brad James, Hayley and Deets Finley, Jaclyn and Dustin Hughey and DJ Sorensen as well as great-grandmother to Mackenzie James, Tyler, Brady and Harper Ingram, Finn and Eden Finley, and Cooper Hughey.\r\n\r\nPeggy was a woman who cherished not only her family but also her relationship with the Lord. She spent much of her life deepening her knowledge of the Lord through time in His Word. Peggy was a long time member of Kerrville Bible Church where she was active in Women's Bible Study as well as other ministries. She also participated in and led Bible Study Fellowship for several years. Peggy will be remembered by her kind, loving and gentle spirit which was felt by everyone around her.\r\n \r\nA memorial service will be held on Tuesday at 2 PM at Kerrville Bible Church, officiated by Pastor Chris McKnight. Pallbearers are DJ Sorensen, Kyle Ingram, Dustin Hughey, Brad James, Bill Johnston and John Pickens.\r\n\r\nThe family would like to thank the loving sitters who helped care for Peggy; Cynthia, Amy, Olga and Theresa.\r\n\r\nIn lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kerrville Bible Church.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
