Pauline V. Stone, 90, of Amarillo, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2020. \r\n\r\nViewing will be 3:00-6:00 pm Monday at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive. \r\n\r\nPrivate graveside services will be held at Hunt Japonica Cemetery in Hunt, Texas. \r\n\r\nPauline was born November 27, 1929 in Hunt, Texas to Ora and Wesley Bass, Sr. She graduated from Hunt High School. She married Roy A. Stone on January 1, 1948 in Hunt. They celebrated 40 years of marriage before Roy's death in 1988. Pauline was a very talented seamstress and an avid quilter. She sewed all her daughters' clothes while they were growing up. She has made many very beautiful quilts over the years. Pauline also loved the outdoors. She enjoyed fishing and camping out in her earlier years. \r\n\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roy A. Stone; two brothers, Wesley Bass, Jr. and Homer Bass; and two sisters, Viola Hargrove and Betty Bass. \r\n\r\nSurvivors include three daughters, Carolyn Dachille and husband Jerry of Amarillo, Linda Mundorf and husband Dan of Freedom, OK, and Sandra Epperley of Cookson, OK; her daughter by heart, Lisa Burton of Cookson, OK; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. \r\n\r\nThe family suggests memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, at www.cancer.org.
