Pauline Campos Sanchez of Kerrville, Texas, passed away on Aug. 28th, 2018 in Kerrville. She was born in Hualahuices, Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Francisco Campos and Maria Garza Campos. \r\n\r\nOnce the love of her life, Florin Bowles Sanchez returned from World War II, they were married on Dec. 30th 1945 in Hondo, Texas. \r\n\r\nPauline grew up in Sabinal, Texas with her mother, six sisters and one brother. She later moved to San Antonio, where she attended Alamo Beauty College and obtained her Cosmetology License. Both Pauline and her husband opened and operated their own Barber and Beauty Shop in Hondo, Texas. Later the couple moved to Kerrville, where they re-opened the Barber and Beauty Shop on Main Street. \r\n\r\nPauline was preceded in death by her loving husband; parents; six sisters; one brother. \r\n\r\nPauline is survived by her six children and their spouses, Jose Luis Sanchez (Rita), Maria Florinda Rico (John), Lupita Amparan (Tony), Dee Flores, Paulette Sanchez and Florin Sanchez; thirteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; plus many beloved nieces, great-nieces, nephews and great-nephews. \r\n\r\nShe loved her family and always encouraged her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren to do their best in their studies and their lives. She loved to cook and especially loved preparing Thanksgiving dinners each year for her family, up until three years ago. She enjoyed reading, learning and sharing with us and had a great appreciation for various forms of music. She was the heart of our family. \r\n\r\nRosary and funeral services will be held on the same day at Notre Dame Catholic Church, beginning at 1:00 pm Friday, Aug. 31st, 2018 with Deacon Alfredo (Jimmy) Bill Jr. officiating. The Mass will follow at 1:30 pm with Reverend David Wagner officiating. Burial will be at Glen Rest Cemetery at 1492 Memorial Blvd. (near Schreiner University). Viewing will not be available to the public. After graveside services, the family invites you to attend the reception at Notre Dame Catholic Church Social Center on Water Street. \r\n\r\nPallbearers will be her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. \r\n\r\nThe family of Pauline Campos Sanchez wish to extend their sincere thanks to all the doctors, nurses and aides who attended to her care while at Peterson Regional Medical Center.
