Bro. Paul McClung of Ingram, Texas was born June 2, 1926 in Frederick, Oklahoma. He passed away September 5, 2015 in a San Antonio care center.\r\n \r\nDuring World War II he served in the U.S. Navy as an aviation machinist and on a special photographic reconnaissance mission.\r\n \r\nOn July 4, 1946 he married Myrna Aileene Harroun in San Ana, California. He pastored churches in Rocky Mount, Dawn, New Home, Morton and Ingram, Texas as well as in Salida, Colorado. He retired from First Baptist Church, Ingram in 1991. For the next 23 years he taught the Victory Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church Kerrville. He was an avid mechanic, pilot, photo1grapher and reader, and a member of Sunrise Baptist Church in Kerrville.\r\n \r\nPaul is survived by wife Myrna of Kerrville; sons, Ken and wife Von of Grand Prairie, Texas and David of Ingram; daughter Cheryl Murray of Kerrville; grandchildren Britt McClung and wife Carole of Dallas, Texas; Holly Diaz and husband Erik of Simi Valley, California; Sarah McClung of Ingram; Austin Luger of Tucson, Arizona; and Dallas Luger of Kerrville; five great-grandchildren; sister, Marge Durham and husband Dale of Kerrville; sister-in-law Lydia McClung of Kerrville; and numerous nieces and nephews.\r\n \r\nHe was preceded in death by his parents, M.L. and Carrie McClung; brother and sister-in-law, Travis and Ronda McClung; and one son-in-law, Don Murray.\r\n \r\nMemorial services will be held Tuesday, September 15, 2015, 10:30 AM at First Baptist Church.\r\n
