Paul Kane, 68, of Kerrville, passed away on March 20, 2020 at his home. He was born in Kerrville to Joyce and G.W. Kane on June 16, 1951. He lived all of his life in Kerrville-Mt. Home area with the exception of time spent in the Marine Corp. He married Stevie Kane on Sept. 14, 2009 in Kerrville.\r\n\r\nPaul attended school at Ingram and graduated from Tivy High. As a teen he worked at the Kerrville State Hospital in the kitchen and maintenance. He managed the Chalet Discotheque, owned and operated Kane City and My Place; owned and operated various second hand/antique stores. His last store was the Swap Shop. He retired in 2013.\r\n\r\nPaul served in the Marines for four years and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.\r\n\r\nPaul served in the leadership of Church of the Hills for 12 years, including President of the Board of Trustees; he was a Gideon and served as President and was also President of the local chapter of the American Family Assoc. for several terms.\r\n\r\nPaul is preceded in death by his parents G.W. Kane, Joyce Kane, and Sister Deborah Furman.\r\n\r\nPaul is survived by his Wife Stevie (Stephanie) Kane, Son Nathan and his Wife Lindsay and their children Max and Alex, Son Paul Aaron and his children Kolton, Damion, and Arella, Son Jesse and his children Ava, Lexie, Cyrus and Kendall, Daughter Becki and her children Sierra, Taylor, Angelina, LJ and Selina as well as his Step Daughter Johnnie Rivera and Husband Luis and their children Dakota, Elijah, Jacob, Chloe and Kodi and Step Daughter Jamie Neeley and her children Wade, Bentley and Paisilee. Paul is also survived by his Brother Gus, wife To Yi and child Jennifer and Brother Wade, his Wife Candy and their children Candice and Dillon.\r\n\r\nA Celebration of Life service will be announced at a later date.\r\n\r\nThe family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Alamo Hospice and especially to his nurse Aleta.
