Paul Gordon Dry, 87, of Kerrville passed away on January 17, 2017 in a Bandera care center. He was born in Commerce, Oklahoma to Virgil Lee and Elva Nancy Gordon Dry on May 18, 1929. He married Francis Jane Ferguson on July 6, 1949 in Muskogee, Oklahoma.\r\n\r\nHe served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Crisis, 1949-1952. He was a Civilian employee for the Air Force Crypto Support Service for 35 years. Following his retirement in 1985, Paul continued to use his talents as a carpenter, plumber, electrician, and engineer. He was a part time caretaker for Camp Sionito and contributed to various community projects around Bandera, such as Helping Hands. He was a devoted family man and outdoorsman.\r\n\r\nPaul is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and four of his brothers. \r\n\r\nHe is survived by his wife, Jane, of 67 years, his son Eugene (Lana) Dry, his daughters Carmen Marie (Michael) Koch, and Euna Mae Wagner; his brothers Robert (Margie) Dry and Jerry (Lynette) Dry; Grandchildren Christopher Dry, Kayla Dry, Lisa (Barry) Fohn, Jon (Kelly) Koch, Sherri (Robert) Stuart, Windy (Aaron) Rickmers, Cindy (Brad) Niemeyer, and Robert (Jackie) Wagner; great-Grandchildren Lily Dry, Avery and Keaton Fohn, Brennan, Wyatt and Jessi Koch, Dalten, Blake and Caitlin Rickmers, Hayden Niemeyer, Keely and Kasen Wagner.\r\n\r\nServices will be held 10 AM, Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Grimes Funeral Chapels in Bandera officiated by Steven Calloway, with interment following at Oak Rest Cemetery in Medina. Pallbearers are Robert Wagner, Jon Koch, Christopher Dry, Barry Fohn, Brad Niemeyer, and Mark Price. Services officiated by Steven Calloway and Paul McMillan.\r\n\r\nVisitation will be held prior to the service, beginning at 9 AM on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Grimes Funeral Chapels in Bandera.
