Patri Del Maxim Newton passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2018 and is reborn now in our Loving Lord Jesus Christ Hands. \r\n\r\nPatri was born in Port Townsend, Washington on October 1, 1929. She went to school at Rosemont College in Pennsylvania. In 1955, she met the love of her life, Brewer Newton, in California and shortly thereafter, would be married for 52 years before Brewer passed. She also was a Deputy Sheriff, nurse, lab technologist and worked at Schreiner College for many years. She and her husband also had an entrepreneurial spirit and opened a business in the late 70's. In addition, she was a talented pianist and accomplished equestrian and had great love and passion for animals and children.\r\n\r\nIn 1982, Patri and Brewer moved to Kerrville, Texas which is where they wanted to retire. Mom loved the Hill Country with its beautiful scenery, flowers, wildlife and most importantly, all the friendly people. One of Patri's favorite places was Mamacita's Mexican Restaurant which Patri and Brewer were regular patrons. The entire family will remember the wonderful times we had at many places and what a special place Kerrville and the people of Kerrville are.\r\n\r\nPatri was beyond an amazing woman and anyone that knew her would agree. A wonderful Daughter, Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother. Patri was also loving, caring, smart, giving, kind, supportive, hardworking, creative, funny, selfless and always had that beautiful and wonderful smile. She smiled all the time and all the way up to the end. She will always be remembered for that smile and our family will continue the tradition that made so many people love her. \r\n\r\nPatri is survived by son, Mark and Pam Newton, granddaughter, Tiffany and Toby Frisk as well as great-granddaughters, Chloe and Lily and great-grandson, Max; daughter, Tori Loveless, grandson, Adam and Jenn Loveless as well as great-grandson, Oliver; son, Bruce and Erica Newton, grandson, Brewer and Courtney Newton, grandsons, Brady Newton and Bryce Newton.\r\n\r\nWe would like to thank all of the family and friends for their love and support during this difficult time. There is no way to replace Patri but she will live on through us and through those who knew her, with the many loving memories we have of her. Thank you again and God Bless.\r\n\r\n
