Otha G. (Bud) Poe, 92, of Kerrville passed away on March 30, 2017. He was born in Chattanooga, OK, to Otha M. Poe and Jessie Tinner on March 14, 1925. He married Hilda Jo Petruck on October 1, 1945 in Edmonton Alberta Canada.\r\n\r\nMr. Poe was a veteran of World War II and served in the Army Air Corps. He was awarded the WWII Victory Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal and American Theater Ribbon.\r\n\r\nHe is preceded in death by his parents and son, Glenn Alan Poe. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Jo Poe, daughter-in-law, Debbie Scott, grandchildren, Erin D'Orsogna, Gregory Poe, Hunter Scott, and two great-grandchildren.\r\n\r\nMemorial services will be held 10 AM, Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Grimes Funeral Chapels. Burial will follow at 2 PM at Mission Burial Park North in San Antonio.
