Oscar Flores Trevino, 84, of Pearsall, Texas passed away on November 2, 2014 in Bandera, Texas. He was born in Pearsall to Maria Del Ressugio Flore (Cuca) and Manuel Trevino (Meme) on July 11, 1930. He Married Elisa Trevino in Pearsall.\r\n\r\nHe went to the only elementary school in town. He worked at a steel mill for a little while, then spent most of his life as a personal contractor (O.T. Construction). He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the Army. He was involved in Little League baseball and several organizations. He received many honors, awards and achievements including a personal DVD for the City of Fremont, CA. where he resided for a great portion of his life.\r\n\r\nWhen he moved to Bandera, he showed his artistic talent by building a 5-ft. tall replica of the Bandera Courthouse displayed at the Frontier Times Museum.\r\n\r\nOscar Trevino is preceded in death by wife, Elisa Trevino; sister, Lupe Rodriquez and brother, Manuel Trevino.\r\n\r\nHe is survived by his second wife, Lydia d. Trevino; sisters, Olga Coronado and Olivia Chappins; brothers, Juan "Chuy" and Rudy Trevino; children; Rusty and his wife Carolyn, Gilbert and his wife Celia and Paul Trevino. Grandchildren, Philip and Tom, Andrea and Anthony, Alex and Austin; Abby and Avery and the youngest one Jackson James Schaukowitch.\r\n\r\nA vigil service will be held Friday, November 7, 2014, 2 PM at Grimes Funeral Chapels in Bandera, officiated by Father John Nolan\r\n\r\n[contact-form-7 id="73" title="Send Condolences"]
