Novella Maye Lee, age 87 of Kerrville, passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2017 in a local hospital. She was born April 22, 1930 in Ingram, Texas to Charlie and Velma (Blevins) Knox.\r\n \r\nNovella was a retired telephone operator for Kerrville Telephone Company and member of Sunrise Baptist Church.\r\n \r\nShe is survived by daughter, Pamela Sue Likin (Jimmy) of Kerrville; son, Larry Travis Lee (Kelly) of San Angelo; grandchildren, Jay Likin (Heather), Jennifer Slaughter (Mike), Ashley DeBusk (Jarret) and Travis Lee (Lisa); great grandchildren, Chris and Shayla Slaughter, Landon and Addyson Likin, Ty, Tynlee and Turner DeBusk, Case and Chesney Lee; sister, Josie Clarene Smith of Kerrville; niece, Sheree Love and her daughters, Amanda Emshoff and Rebecca Baker and her son, James Love.\r\n \r\nServices will be held at 3 PM, Friday, September 8, 2017 at Grimes Funeral Chapels with interment following in the Sunset Cemetery in Mountain Home.\r\n \r\nThose who desire, may make memorials to cancer research or to the American Heart Association.\r\n \r\n
