Norma Jean Hawley Bond of Ingram, TX, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2016. She was born in Houston, TX on November 14, 1928 to Elanor and George Hawley. \r\n \r\nOn November 2, 1949, she married Bruce McGregor Bond Sr. in Houston, TX. They moved to the Hill Country in 1983 where she lived until her passing.\r\n \r\nShe had worked as a secretary for Spring Branch ISD, was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Kerrville, and past president of the Episcopal Christian Women of St. Peter's Episcopal Church. She was a member of the Hunt Garden Club and the Sew & So's.\r\n \r\nHer daughter, Beverly Ann Bouché preceded her in death.\r\n \r\nSurvivors include husband, Bruce M. Bond Sr. of Ingram; son, Bruce M. Bond Jr. and wife, Rhonda Fullen Bond of Ingram; sister, E. Joyce Dinsdale of Hunt; 6 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.\r\n \r\nVisitation will be held Friday, January 8, 2016, 5-7 PM at Grimes Funeral Chapels. \r\n \r\nServices will be held 10 AM, Saturday, January 9, 2016 at St. Peter's Episcopal Church officiated by The Rev. Stockton Williams and Father Tom Murray. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery.\r\n \r\nIn lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Peter's Episcopal Church or St. Peter's choir.\r\n \r\nPallbearers will be Jason Young, Willis Vana, Charles Dinsdale, Michael Henry, Dalton Leach, and Ralph Turicchi.\r\n
