Nelda Parks

Nelda R. Parks, 87, of Ingram, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 in Kerrville. She was born in Coryell County, TX to Minnie Mae (Cadell) Carroll and Luke Carroll on June 16, 1928. She married Leroy Parks on June 16, 1943 in Junction, in a grocery store called Livermans. She went to school in Junction.\r\n \r\nNelda is preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Parks; sons, Luther and Alan Parks; daughter, Vivian Donaldson and grandson, Joshua Parks.\r\n \r\nNelda is survived by sons, Charlie and Beverly Parks, Roy and Glenda Parks, Henry and Joann Parks, Bobby and Pam Parks, and Orrville Parks; daughters, Beverly and Kenneth Cornehl, Ann and Dan Lowery, and Gloria and Bob Maley. She is also survived by 35 grandkids, 41 great grandkids and 3 great great grandkids.\r\n \r\nVisitation will be 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Thursday, June 18, 2015 at Grimes Funeral Chapels.\r\n \r\nFuneral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, June 19, 2015 at Grimes Funeral Chapels with Thomas Jeffers of Living Tree Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery.\r\n \r\nPallbearers will be Charlie Parks, Roy Parks, Henry Parks, Bobby Parks, Orrville Parks, and Joey Parks.
