Nancy Lee Hunt Wise was born October 13, 1942 in Comfort, Texas. She lost her battle with lung cancer on November 21, 2014 surrounded by family. \r\n\r\nNancy is a 1960 graduate of Tivy High School and attended Schreiner College and Texas A&I studying English. She married Lt. Robert M. Wise on September 1, 1962 in the First United Methodist Church of Kerrville and honeymooned at the Bluebonnet Hotel. She and Bob then started a journey in the Air Force that took them many places and brought adventure into their lives. Despite enjoying the military life, Nancy was thrilled to return to her hometown of Kerrville when Bob left the service.\r\n\r\nShe is preceded in death by her husband, Bob, who passed in 1990 and her parents, Harry Hunt and Velta Hardin Hunt. She is survived by her children: Melissa Robbins and husband David of Kerrville; Beth Wise of Kerrville and James Wise of Dallas. Nancy is also survived by her brother Dr. David Hunt and wife Cindy of Kerrville, as well as nephew Blair Hunt and wife Kaylon and their children Zachary and Kora; brother-in-law Chris Wise and wife Frances of Raleigh, North Carolina and brother-in-law David Wise of Jacksonville, Florida. She is also survived by her beloved Shih Tzu, Molly, as well as three grand-dogs and six grand-cats.\r\n\r\nServices will be held at 1:30 PM at First United Methodist Church of Kerrville on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 with Dr. Melburn Hardin and Rev. Donna Magee officiating. Pallbearers are James Wise, Dr. David Hunt, Blair Hunt, David Robbins, Zachary Hunt and Lt. Steven Denton.
