Myrna Aileene Harroun McClung of Ingram, Texas, was born February 29, 1928 in Barnsdall, Oklahoma. She passed away Friday, December 15, 2017 in an Arlington, Texas care center.\r\n\r\nOn July 4, 1946 Myrna married Paul McClung in Santa Ana, California. During their 69-year marriage, Paul pastored churches in Rocky Mount, Dawn, New Home, Morton and Ingram, Texas, as well as in Salida, Colorado. In each of these churches, Myrna supported Paul in his ministry in any way he needed her. She also served as Sunday School teacher, Women's Missionary Union Director, Girls in Action Director, as well as in many other capacities.\r\n\r\nMyrna loved to cook, and it was evident in the delicious food she prepared. She was also an excellent seamstress and enjoyed crocheting. She was a member of Sunrise Baptist Church of Kerrville.\r\n\r\nMyrna is survived by two sons, Ken and wife, Von, of Grand Prairie, Texas, and David of Ingram; one daughter, Cheryl Murray of Fort Worth, Texas; five grandchildren: Britt McClung and wife, Carole, of Dallas, Texas, Holly Diaz and husband, Erik, of Attleboro, Massachusetts, Sarah McClung of Mountain Home, Austin Luger of Fort Worth, and Dallas Luger of Boerne; six great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Marge Durham and husband, Dale, of Kerrville; sister-in-law Lydia McClung of Kerrville; and numerous nieces and nephews.\r\n\r\nShe was preceded in death by husband, Paul McClung, parents C.W. & Fern Harroun, three brothers, one sister, and one son-in-law.\r\n\r\nPrivate family services will be held.\r\n\r\nMemorials may be sent to Mission Dignity in care of Guidestone Financial Resources, 2401 Cedar Springs Road, Dallas, TX 75201-1498.\r\n
