Morris Alan Pue age, 85, of Bandera, passed away on August 20, 2017 at his home. He was born in Medina to Percy and Virginia Pue on November 11, 1931. He married Dorothy Mayfield on November 27, 1954 in Medina. \r\n\r\nHe went to school in Medina. He served 4 years in the US Air Force and was a veteran of the Korean War and was awarded the Korean Service Medal, the UN Service Medal and the National Defense Service Medal.\r\n\r\nAfter being discharged from the military he came home and helped his dad paint and other odd jobs. He married Dorothy and had two children, Douglas and Enola Gay. He was a Government Trapper for several years. He and his family moved to Kirby, Texas where he was hired on by Ingram Equipment Company in San antonio. He worked there for 19 years and then retired and He and Dorothy moved back to Bandera where they built their own home on the family property.\r\n\r\nMorris is preceded in death by his parents, Percy and Virginia Pue; brother, Harold Ray Pue; 2 sisters, Alice Joyce Pue and Geraldine Oehler.\r\n\r\nHe is survived by his wife of 62 years, Dorothy; son Douglas and his wife, Karen; daughter, Enola Gay and her husband, Willy Brown; 3 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.\r\n\r\nFuneral Services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Grimes Funeral Chapels of Bandera, with Pastor Del Way of Calvery Temple Church in Kerrville Officiating. Burial will follow at Bandera Cemetery.\r\n \r\nPallbearers will be Chuck Mobley, Bob Fisk, Bo Haynes, John Waliky, Willy Brown and Doug Pue.
