Miriam Anderson

Miriam F. Anderson, 88, of Lakehills, passed away on February 19, 2015 in San Antonio. She was born in Eutaw, Mississippi to John Stokes and Ruth Norwood on March 12, 1926.\r\n\r\nShe was a member of the Pipe Creek Community Church and was very devoted to her family. She was a Nurse for many years. Miriam was a Master Gardener at the New Orleans Zoo. Her hobbies included sewing and gardening.\r\n\r\nMiriam is preceded in death by her husband, Garland M. Anderson of New Orleans.\r\n\r\nShe is survived by her daughter, Patricia A. Fackrell: son, Garland M. "Skody" Anderson, Jr. of Metairie, LA.; sisters, Carolyn Vinson of Brandon, MS., Martha Francis of Maggie Valley, SC., Ruth Smith of Irvine, CA.; grandchildren, Pastor David L. Busby of Lakehills, Garland S. "Marty" Anderson, Amanda B. Edwards of Las Flores, CA.; great grandchildren, Cassidy, Claire, Chloe, Ryan and Elise.\r\n\r\nA graveside service will be held in Metaire, LA., Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Garden of Memories with the Pastor Dave Busby officiating. \r\n\r\n[contact-form-7 id="73" title="Send Condolences"]
