Mindi Heilbrun

Mindi Leigh Heilbrun passed away tragically on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 in San Antonio, Texas. She was 40 years old and a long time resident of Lakehills, Texas. \r\n\r\nMindi was born July 24, 1978 to Teresa Moore Heilbrun and Gary A. Heilbrun in Chadron, Nebraska. She never met a stranger.\r\n\r\nShe was preceded in death by grandparents Betty and Larry Cate, Jack Moore, Walter Heilbrun and Red and Trula Moore and Teresa's husband Don Kirkpatrick. Mindi is survived by her mother Teresa Kirkpatrick; father Gary A. Heilbrun and his wife Kristie; maternal grandmothers Marion Heilbrun and Phyllis Larsen-Brewer; daughter Meaghan Nikkel; son Mikeal Nikkel; sisters Ginger, Amy, Janelle, Elishia and Danielle; brother Josh and many extended family members whom she loved dearly, and treasured friends.\r\n\r\nA Celebration of Mindi's life will be held Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Grimes Funeral Chapels of Bandera. Mindi and her family would want this to be a comfortable and casual gathering. Mindi would want you to wear jeans, a Harley T-shirt and Vans shoes. All are welcome to attend. Mindi's family deeply appreciates every act of kindness and expression of sympathy during this very difficult time.\r\n
