Melissa Ann Alanis, 47 of Bandera, Texas entered rest on Wednesday, September 13, 2017. She was born in Nurnberg, Germany on January 2, 1970 to David L. Pylate and Pamela Gaconnet Pylate.\r\n\r\nMelissa is survived by her husband Randy; mother and step-father Pam and Roger Scharmen; father and step-mother Monty and Susan Pylate; daughter Tiffanee Parrish and husband William; paternal grandmother, Floramye Engle; sisters, Tamme Nolan and husband Tony, Jr. and Frances Byrd and husband Nathan, Sarah Fillingame and fiance Matthew Bergeron; grandchildren Pacee Faglie, Preslee Greenley, Tammera Parrish and Jayden Parrish; 1 step-daughter and 3 step-sons; step-sisters, Michelle Bell and husband Robert, Michelle Sundberg and husband Jeff and Kristina De La Fuente and husband Joe. Other extended family members include Randy's four brothers and their families. There are also many nieces and nephews. \r\n\r\nA visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until 7:00 PM Tuesday September 19, 2017 at Grimes Funeral Chapels of Bandera. \r\n\r\nFuneral services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday September 20, 2017 at Grimes Funeral Chapels of Bandera with interment to follow at Bandera Cemetery.\r\n\r\nFuneral arrangements are entrusted to Grimes Funeral Chapels of Bandera.\r\n
