Maxie Lee Davis-Edge Lenz passed away at her home on Friday, July 19, 2019 after a long illness. She had been a resident of Bandera, Texas for over thirty years.\r\n\r\nMaxie was born in Pueblo, Colorado and graduated from Boerne High School. She owned and operated Maxine's Plants in Bandera for thirty years until health issues forced her to close.\r\n\r\nMaxie was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Cheryl Meckel. She is survived by her husband of 47 years Elmer L. Lenz; daughters Dusti Lee Christiana and husband Michael, Terrilea Warden and husband Bobby Joe, II and Kathy Ray; son Johnnie Alois Haas, II and his fiance Lorene Elizabeth Semmes; sister Connie Schuchardt; grandchildren Blake Austin Christiana, Alexzandria Leigh-Anne Schriber, Krystinlea Nettie Lloyd, Brittany Anne Warden and Chloe Nicole Haas; 4 great grandchildren and many extended family members and friends.\r\n\r\nThe family wishes to extend their gratitude to Alamo Hospice and those that were so caring and supportive during this difficult time.\r\n\r\nA graveside service will be held on Friday, July 26, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Edge Cemetery near Kendalia, Texas with Rev. Doyle Dunn officiating.
