Mavery Storms

May 23, 2018 — June 10, 2018

Mavery Grace Storms is lovingly snuggled in the arms of Jesus and free from the tragic complications of Trisomy 13.\r\n\r\nBorn May 23, 2018, our "Baby Boots" showed her determined personality from the start by arriving several weeks early, breech, and with only a 2-hour labor and delivery. She was a fighter from the start and exceeded medical expectations daily. Mavery's 19 days were filled with a lifetime of love, memories, and joy. She was a tiny package bursting with precious goodness.\r\n\r\n For You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; wonderful are Your works, and my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth; Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; and in Your book were all written the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there was not one of them. Psalm 139: 13-16 \r\n\r\nOn June 10, 2018, Mavery Grace was at home with her family and in the adoring arms of her momma and daddy when she joined Jesus and Granny, her great grandmother (Hilma Noble), in heaven. Many eagerly await reuniting with Mavery, including parents, Dustin and Randi (Garrett) Storms; sisters, Mackenzie, Maeson, Millie, and Maggie; great grandmother, Carra "GiGi" Standard; grandparents John and Evelyn Garrett, and Allen and Liz Storms; uncles and aunts, Bubba and Amanda Garrett, Andrew and Robin Pate, Michael Garrett, Tommy and Jenacee Storms, Wendy and Howie Sklenarik; and cousins Lilli, Autumn, Scooty, Bailey, Evie, Elizabeth, Olivia, and Alli; and so many others. Mavery Grace is a gift from God who touched countless lives and will forever be in our hearts.\r\n\r\n But even before I was born, God chose me and called me by His marvelous grace. Galatians 1:15 \r\n\r\nThe family would like to thank Amy Beckmann with Blessings Midwifery, Dr. Haeri at Austin Maternal Fetal Medicine, Dr. Stafford with Cornerstone Clinic, the Hill Country Memorial Women's Pavilion staff, Bella Photography, the Hill Country Memorial Hospice staff (especially Ms. Ann), Southern Oaks Church, Karen at the Rose Shop, Grimes Funeral Chapels (especially Charles), and the body of believers near and far, known and unknown who have faithfully prayed.\r\n\r\nA memorial service for Mavery Grace Storms will be held Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 10:00AM at Grimes Funeral Chapels, and the family invites all who feel led to attend. The interment will follow at Nichols Cemetery and will be a private, immediate family only, gathering.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n
