Mary Wise

Mary Anita Pinkston Morrow Albright Wise was born the only child of Ted and Betty Pinkston on December 30, 1931, in Drumright, Oklahoma. She passed away in her home in Kerrville, TX on June 1, 2016. \r\n \r\nShe is survived by her sons, Michael D. Morrow and his wife Whitney, Austin, TX, and Ray Albright of Moore, OK; daughters, Marsha Morrow Meeks of Farmers Branch, TX, Wynn Albright Harle and husband Jack of Mineola, TX, and Meg Albright Kennedy and husband Jim of Eastland, TX. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, and numerous cousins and friends.\r\n \r\nAnita graduated from Drumright High School in 1950 and from Draughons Business School in 1951. She taught music at Frybarger School in Dallas for 7 years was also employed by Zoecon Industries in Dallas for 17 years. She attended Brookhaven College in Dallas as a part-time student and received her Associate Degree in 1986.\r\n \r\nAnita married Bill Albright at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Dallas in 1979, retiring to Kerrville in 1993. Bill died at their home in March 1996. Anita was married to Monte Wise from April of 2002 until his death in April of 2015.\r\n \r\nUntil her illness, Anita was able to spend her retirement travelling the world and following her love of music to festivals all over the United States...but always remained loyal to Waylon and Willie. She was passionate about her family, cooking and entertaining, tending her African violets, and hummingbirds. We will miss her open arms, infectious giggle, and her million dollar smile.\r\n \r\nMemorial services will be held at 10 AM, Monday, June 6, 2016 at First Presbyterian Church in Kerrville, officiated by Rev. Rob Lohmeyer.\r\n \r\nIn lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to Peterson Hospice or First Presbyterian Church in Kerrville.
