Mary Wheeler

Mary Katherin "Aunt Maynie" Wheeler, 72, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021 in Kerrville. She was born on December 15, 1948 in Victoria, Texas to John Q and Margie Harvey Wheeler (predeceased). \r\n\r\nMary proudly and lovingly cared for others as an RN for 38 years in several hospitals in Texas, including Hill Country Memorial, Fredericksburg and Peterson. She loved family gatherings watching the younger ones grow. Her adored cats were her children. She was a conservative patriot, loved outdoor picnics, wildlife and bird watching with friends. Mary treasured her friends, many from her youthful days, often calling to check on them. \r\n\r\nForever loved and missed by her sister, Suzan Pease (Kelly) of Burnet, two nephews, John Kelly (Kimberly) Pease and family of San Antonio, Kevin (Mandi) Pease and family, of Boerne, one niece, Shannon (Johnny) Johnson, and family of Bergheim, (big brother) cousin, Don (Sandy) Sears and family of Oklahoma City, many other cousins and friends. \r\n\r\nThe family is forever grateful for the loving, constant care given by ALL the staff at Peterson emergency, 2West, surgical, and ICU to our Maynie.
