Mary Mata

Mary Ann Mata, age 62 of Kerrville, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2015 in a local care center. She was born March 11, 1952 in Abbeville, LA to Eless Joseph Bouillion and Louise (Dubois) Bouillion. On August 30, 2003, she married Miguel E. Mata in Weslaco, TX.\r\n \r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Sonny Bouillion.\r\n \r\nSurvivors include husband, Miguel Mata of Kerrville; son, Jonathan Van Winkle (Amanda) of Kerrville; daughters, Jennifer Knight (Chris) of Austin and Janelle Van Winkle of Kerrville; sister, Kathy Bouillion of Houston; brothers, Emery Porter (Belkis) of Katy, Norman Bouillion of Houston and Patrick Bouillion (Nancy) of Houston; grandchildren, Braden Knight, Ashley Gierisch, Nathan Van Winkle and Ava Van Winkle.\r\n \r\nMemorial services will be held Sunday, March 8, 2015, 5:30 PM at Grimes Funeral Chapels officiated by Nico Gonzalez.\r\n \r\nIn lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration, www.theaftd.org.\r\n \r\n[contact-form-7 id="73" title="Send Condolences"]\r\n \r\n
