Mary Benavides

Mary Jane Benavides, age 58, of Bandera, passed away August 23, 2017 in San Antonio, TX. She was born in Seguin, Texas, to Billie D. and Lorene Olga Martin on October 6, 1958. \r\n\r\nMary Jane served her community and the young children of the area for many years at Noah's Ark Day Care in every capacity, a service which was her calling.\r\n\r\nShe is preceded in death by her mother, Lorene O. Martin.\r\n\r\nMary Jane is survived by her husband, Michael Benavides; father, Billie D. Martin; son, Travis Benavides and his wife, Amanda; brothers, David Martin, Kenneth Martin and John Martin and their families; grandchild, Hailey Rose Benavides.\r\n\r\nA Visitation will be 5:00PM to 7:00 PM, Monday, August 28, 2017 at Grimes Funeral Chapels of Bandera.\r\n\r\nA Rosary will be held at 9:00 AM, Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, followed by a Mass at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow at Bandera Cemetery.\r\n\r\nIn lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Noah's Ark Day Care, PO Box 655, Bandera, TX 78003.\r\n
