Mary Barfield

Mary "Francis" Barfield, 73, of Kerrville, Texas went to meet her Lord on Wednesday, November 15, 2017. She was one of eight children born in Kirbyville to Vernon B. and Rosie B. Brown on November 27, 1943.\r\n \r\nShe married Truett W. Barfield Sr. on February 24, 1962. They had three children, Dana, Truett W., and Lana.\r\n \r\nMary "Francis" Barfield was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon B. and Rosie B. Brown and her younger brother, Bobby Jo Brown.\r\n \r\nShe is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Truett Wirth Barfield; her children, Dana Chambers and Phil, Sgt. Truett W. Barfield Jr. and Teresa, and Lana Barfield; siblings, Dub Brown and Barbara Sue, Charles Brown and Laverne, Shirley Jackson, Jerry Dean Brown and Mary, Marguerite Jones, Judy Dorflinger and Chris; grandchildren, Ben Chambers and Basia, Chris Chambers and Kelzie, Angela Simonton and Kelly, and Bronson Barfield; great-grandchildren, Cambree Chambers, Nolan and Oakley Chambers.\r\n \r\nVisitation will be from 2-4 PM, Sunday, November 19, 2017 at Grimes Funeral Chapels in Kerrville.\r\n \r\nGraveside services will be at 1 PM, Monday, November 20, 2017 at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 3250 Fredericksburg Road, Kerrville, Texas 78028 officiated by Pastor John Wheat of Trinity Baptist Church, where Mary "Francis" Barfield was a member during her life here in Kerrville.\r\n \r\nPallbearers will be her son, Sgt. T.W. Barfield Jr.; grandsons, Ben Chambers, Chris Chambers and Bronson Barfield, and Kelly Simonton and close family friend, J.C. Halvorson.\r\n
