Marvin Lee Alexander, (Papo), age 76, of Pipe Creek, passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2020.\r\nHe was born on December 31, 1943, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Richard Thomas and Leona Pearl Glasco Alexander.\r\nMarvin married Darlene Rignell, September 7, 1963 in Anchorage, Alaska. They had two children and many adventures which included Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Italy.\r\nMarvin served in the United States Air Force and retired in 1982 after 20 years. After retiring from the Air Force, he moved his family back to Texas and began another career with the U.S. Post Office. He retired again after another 20 years. Throughout his life he enjoyed fishing, square dancing, traveling, playing cards and his family. He always had a dog that he loved and Timber, his last, was one of his great joys.\r\nHe was preceeded in death by his parents, his sister, Betty, and his brother Larry.\r\nHe is survived by his wife, Darlene Alexander, two children, Wendy Treibs of Kerrville, Kenneth Alexander of Pipe Creek, eleven grandchildren; Ashley, Hannah, Kristopher, Josiah, Kendra, Jael, Rebekah, Nehemiah, Jonathan, Esther and Deborah, seven great-grandchildren, and his brother, Richard Alexander of Mena, Arkansas.\r\nA private service will be held where Marvin will receive full military honors.\r\n\r\n
