Martha Overall Foy, a long time resident of Kerrville, Texas, passed away at home surrounded by her loved ones on Saturday, February 10, 2018. She was 91 years young.\r\n \r\nMartha was born August 6, 1926 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee to Asbury and Adah Overall. She was the youngest of four children.\r\n \r\nShe attended Ward Belmont and graduated from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. She met Joe H. Foy while at Vanderbilt and they married on May 28,1949. The couple moved to San Angelo, Texas soon after and began a new life together. They moved to Houston in 1965, and finally to Kerrville as permanent residents in 2000. Martha was a school teacher, a member of Delta Delta Delta, a Junior League member and also a member of the Blue Bird Circle.\r\n \r\nMartha was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, her mother and father, and her siblings.\r\n \r\nShe is survived by her son, Joe H. Foy Jr. and Brenda Loudermilk; her daughter, Melissa F. Dreier and Greg Dreier; her grandson, Timothy A. Dreier and Amanda Evrard; her granddaughter, Carrie E. Perkins and Jeff Perkins; and her great-grandson, Andrew J. Perkins.\r\n \r\nA Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00am, Friday, February 16, 2018 at the Kerrville Church of Christ with Greg Cummings officiating.\r\n \r\nMartha was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. While we mourn her loss, we will be celebrating her amazing life. She taught all of us to love unconditionally and will be remembered for her grace and beauty.\r\n \r\nIn lieu of flowers, please send contributions to the Medina Children's Home.\r\n
