Martha placed her hand in the nail scarred Hand of Jesus and the angels ushered her Home to a land where joy shall never end on Friday, November 9.\r\n\r\nShe resided in Kerrville where she loved to see the hills. \r\n\r\nThere are no words to describe our loss.\r\n\r\nMartha loved to read the Bible. She would jot down verses to place on the refrigerator.\r\n\r\nShe was the kindest, most loving and giving person we will ever know.\r\n\r\nHer children Michelle and Darrel Jr. were the love of her life. She was devoted to them and cherished them. She tried to protect and take care of those she loved.\r\n\r\nHer sister Laura was among the ones she was always watching out for and she adored her "baby" brother Bubba and mourned for him.\r\n\r\nMartha was born July 26, 1949 in Brownsville, Texas to Lauranza Pinkney and Mary Elizabeth Collins.\r\n\r\nShe was preceded in death by Lauranza Collins, Elizabeth Collins, and Bubba Collins. \r\n\r\nShe leaves behind her daughter Michelle Colombo and Rocky of Aberdeen, Scotland, son Darrell Davis Jr. of Kerrville, and beloved grandchildren Austin and Eddie Colombo of Aberdeen, Scotland, her sisters Sarabeth Collins and the late Ronald Cawlfield, Teresa and Thomas Smith of Brownsville, Laura Kelch and husband Bob of Victoria, nephews Randal Cawlfield and wife Lydia of Bayview, Timothy Smith and wife Kathy of the Woodlands, Sam Smith and wife Diana of Edinburg. Nieces Kimberly Bolton and husband Kato of Phoenix, Arizona, Margaret Naylor and husband Ric of San Antonio, Sharon Van Zandt and husband Charles of New Braunfels.\r\n\r\nServices will be held at 10 AM, Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Grimes Funeral Chapels officiated by Rev. Chris Christopherson. Burial will be at Garden of Memories Cemetery.\r\n\r\nPsalm 121:1-2 I will lift up my eyes unto to the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord which made heaven and earth.\r\n\r\n \r\n
