Martha Ann (West) Brown, 82, of Medina Texas passed away on September 28th, 2017 at her residence. She was born in Lost Prairie, Arkansas to Emmett and Carrie West on November 12th 1934. She married James Ellie Brown on February 12th, 1954 in Texarkana, Arkansas. She went to school at North Heights High School in Texarkana, Arkansas. She was a homemaker for most of her life, and lovingly raised six children. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Medina for many years. \r\nMartha is preceded in death by her parents, Emmett and Carrie West and her husband James E. Brown.\r\nMartha is survived by her children Jim (and Marti) Brown, Jan (and Ron) Pease, Randy (and Cathy) Brown, Judy Brown, Joyce Droutsas, and John (and Joy) Brown. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Richard, Robert, and Jeff Brown, Jay, Carrie, and Emily Pease, Chase Webber and Randi Sargent, Paul and Jake Droutsas, Kelsey and Kade Brown, and Ethan and Hanson Brown. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren. \r\nVisitation will be at Grimes Funeral Home in Bandera, Texas on Tuesday October 3rd, 2017 from 5-7pm. \r\nFuneral services will be held on Wednesday October 4th, 2017 at 11am at Grimes Funeral Home in Bandera, Texas with Brother Bill Mosley officiating. Burial will follow at West Prong Cemetery in Medina. \r\nPallbearers will be Richard Brown, Robert Brown, Jeff Brown, Jay Pease, Kade Brown, Chase Webber, Paul Droutsas, Jake Droutsas, Hanson Brown, and Ethan Brown. Honorary pallbearers will be Carrie Pease, Emily Pease, Randi Sargent, and Kelsey Brown.\r\nIn lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Lupus Foundation. The family of Martha wishes to extend our sincerest thanks to Dr. Michael Grocki, Aleta Lloyd, and the Alamo Hospice team. \r\n
