Marsha Fields

October 4, 1958 — June 19, 2018

On June 19, 2018, our dearly beloved and beautiful Marsha JoAnn Wooley Fields departed from us to be with our Lord.\r\n\r\nMarsha was born October 4, 1958 in Dallas, Texas to Kenneth Ray Wooley and Sylvia Leona Wooley (nee Way). Marsha was the youngest of five sisters in what was already a huge extended family, that became even larger with every person that she met. \r\n\r\nMarsha was raised in Kerrville, TX before moving with her family to Los Angeles, CA then returned to Kerrville were she started a family of her own. While she cared for and raised her own children, she also loved and took care of several nieces and nephews who consider her a second mother to this day. As life went on, she became the proud grandmother of many grandchildren who became the great love of her life next to her husband. \r\n\r\nIn addition to Marsha's great love of her family, she also loved travelling, visiting new places and making new friends. She and her husband spent many hours roaming through antique stores, flea markets and thrift stores finding great treasures. They traveled from east coast to the west coast visiting exotic and interesting places. And more antique hunting every step of the way.\r\nMarsha's hobbies included crafts, baking, celebrating holidays, throwing elaborate parties, gardening, and spending time with her family. \r\nHer proudest professional accomplishment was her 13-year service with the Kerrville Police Department, where she would still be today if her not for her failing health. Prior to her service with the Police Department, Marsha worked in doctor's offices and hotels. \r\n \r\nMarsha was preceded in death by her mother and father, older sisters Judy Bishop, Sherry James and Debra Morris. She is survived by her husband of 18 years Mark Alan Fields, her son Jeremy James Fisher and his wife Samantha Nicole Fisher, her daughter Nicole Amanda Rosinbaum and her husband Randal Brady Rosinbaum, her son Joshua Levi Fields and his wife Patricia Suzette Fields, her daughter Jennifer Nicole Fields and her husband Terrance Kenyon Zolliecoffer. \r\n\r\nMarsha is also survived by eleven grandchildren; Myree Zolliecoffer, Jaden Cribbs, Noah Fisher, Isaiah Ramon, Gabriella Fisher, Zayne Ramon, Krislynn Headrick, Kamryn Rosinbaum, Ryan Fields, Kollyn Rosinbaum, and Aidan Fields. She is also survived by literally hundreds of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.\r\n\r\nPlease join us in a celebration of her life with a viewing at Grimes Funeral Chapel at 728 Jefferson Street in Kerrville on Thursday June 28, 2018 at 5:30-7:30 pm, and a funeral service to be held at St. Peter's Episcopal Church 320 St. Peter's Street in Kerrville at 10 am Friday, June 29th 2018. \r\n\r\nFuneral arrangements are entrusted to Grimes Funeral Chapels of Kerrville.\r\n \r\n
