Marsha Lea (Wersonick) Cavin of Bandera Tx., went to her Heavenly home on Tuesday, July 23rd, 2019 at the age of 71. Marsha was born to Ralph and Mary Lea (Hubbard) Wersonick on August 17th, 1947 in Amarillo, Texas. She graduated from Markoma High School in Tahlequah, Oklahoma in 1965. Marsha attended Southwestern Bible College in Waxahachie, Texas where she met Wayne Cavin and then married on July 6th, 1967 in Panhandle, Texas. Wayne was an ordained minister with the Assembly of God. They moved to many small towns in North/Central Texas while ministering. Their daughter, Anedrea was born in Amarillo, Texas and their daughter Marlo was born in Lockney, Texas.\r\n\r\nMarsha was a loving mother, sister, aunt and grandmother. She enjoyed games with family and activities with her church like singing and playing the piano. She had a special heart for animals, always nursing injured birds or bringing in the strays. She will always be remembered for her love and service to the Lord.\r\n\r\nIn her earlier years, Marsha was an active participant in church as a minister's wife. At various times she taught in the women, youth, and music ministries in the various churches they ministered in. She loved singing and playing the piano for the glory of God.\r\n\r\nRelatives she will see at her glorious homecoming in Heaven are her parents, Ralph and Mary Lea Wersonick, granddaughter, Hannah Westall, and her niece Marcy K. Molone.\r\n\r\nMarsha is survived by her husband Wayne Cavin, a sister Kathleen Pratt, her daughters; Anedrea Hodges and Marlo Ondrej, nephew Joel Pratt, six grandchildren; Jordan and Justin Hodges, Erin Dill, Robert Westall, Courtney and Camryn Riley, three great grandchildren; Rylan, Jazelle, Jensen, and many nieces and nephews. \r\n\r\nMarsha will be missed by many church friends and neighbors in their Stockdale, Texas community.\r\n\r\nA Funeral Service will be held at 2 pm. on Sunday, July 28th, 2019 at Grimes Funeral Chapels, 1214 Mulberry, Bandera, Texas. Interment will follow at Bandera Cemetery.\r\n\r\n
