Marjorie Kunkel

Marjorie Verna Mae Jennings Kunkel, age 94, of Kerrville, passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at her residence. She was born on April 10, 1920 in Knox City, TX, to Thomas Vernon and Annie Madison Cole Jennings. On July 25, 1959, she married Edward John Kunkel in Ancon, in the Panama Canal Zone. He preceded her in death in 2010. \r\n\r\nMarjorie was a longtime faithful member of Notre Dame Catholic Church. \r\n\r\nShe is survived by her son, Thomas Kunkel of Kerrville, and grandson, Raymond Roberts of San Antonio, and numerous other family members. \r\n\r\nIn addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son Danvern Ray Roberts. \r\n\r\nA rosary will be recited on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 6 PM at Grimes Funeral Chapels. \r\n\r\nA funeral mass will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2015, 1:30 PM at Notre Dame Catholic Church.
