Marilyn Jeanne Walters, age 86, of Kerrville, Texas, passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2015. She was born in Detroit, Michigan to Arthur and Irene Hernden. On January 18, 1947 she married Harry J. Walters in Detroit, Michigan.\r\n \r\nJeanne is survived by her five loving daughters: Linda Fryback of Southern California; Daryl Sandy Crawford (Dan) of Southern California; Cherie Holmes (Wiley) of Corpus Christi, Texas; Christie Baumgart (Jurgen) of Kerrville, Texas; and Patti Bozeman (Mark) of Raymond, Mississippi; 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, brothers-in-law, Harold Adams and Ron Trotter and many nieces and nephews.\r\n \r\nShe was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harry J. Walters; grandson, Michael Fryback; sisters, Barbara Adams, Virginia Mize, and Carol Trotter; and brothers, James and Raymond Hernden.\r\n \r\nJeanne was warm and caring, and a wonderful mother who loved her entire family. She was known as 'mom' to several of her daughters' friends. Her favorite hobbies were quilting, sewing and gardening. Although, anyone who knew her also knew she loved to move furniture. Things rarely stayed in place more than two weeks at a time. That was part of her charm.
