Margie Keese

Margie Keese, 81, of Bandera, passed away on May 27, 2016 in San Antonio. She was born in Seymour, Texas to Frieda and Henry Arthur Moseley on August 7, 1934. She was married to Bub Keese who passed away in July of 2007.\r\n\r\nMargie worked at Bandera High School for many years. She loved working with children as evidenced by her teaching 3 generations of graduates typing. Although she has been retired for many years she also worked as a secretary with Grimes Funeral Chapels of Bandera. She was much beloved both as a teacher and friend in whatever capacity she served. She will be greatly missed by all. Margie enjoyed reading and gardening as hobbies but her true joy was her time spent with her grandchildren Micaela and Mitchell.\r\n\r\nMargie is preceded in death by her husband, Bub.\r\n\r\nShe is survived by her daughter, Kim Keese of Bandera; sister, Linda Stanfield and her husband Ed of Uvalde, Texas; and grandchildren, Micaela Keese and Mitchelle, both of Bandera.\r\n\r\nA Celebration of Life will be at 2:00 PM, Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Grimes Funeral Chapels of Bandera with Mr. Martin Smith officiating.\r\n\r\nIn lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be sent to the Bandera Church of Christ, PO Box 873, Bandera, Texas, 78003.
