Margaret Hopper

Margaret Hopper, age 59 of Kerrville, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018 in a local hospital. She was born October 30, 1958 in Minneola, Kansas to Andrew J. Overgard and Phyllis Joan (Koenecke) Overgard. On June 15, 1979, she married Sherman Louis Hopper in Lovington, New Mexico.\r\n \r\nMargaret was of the Baptist faith and member of Open Arms Ministry. She was the former secretary and bookkeeper at Sunrise Baptist Church. \r\n \r\nSurvivors include husband, Sherman Hopper of Kerrville, Texas; sisters, Kathy Overgard of Alamogordo, New Mexico, Diane Stevens of Bayside, Texas and Michelle Ross of Alamogordo, New Mexico; brother, Michael Overgard of Bayside, Texas; brother-in-law, Norman Hopper; numerous nieces and nephews; 6 great-nephews; 2 great-nieces; and a host of many friends.\r\n \r\nMemorial services will be held at 10 AM, Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Grimes Funeral Chapels officiated by Brother Thomas Jeffers.\r\n \r\nIn lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Open Arms Ministry or to the American Cancer Society.\r\n \r\n \r\n
