Margaret Janet " Jan" Chadwell of Bandera passed away in Bandera, Texas on August 19th, 2020, 19 days shy of her 92nd birthday. She was born in Dothan, Alabama to Jim Clint and Osee Paul on September 7th, 1928.\r\n\r\nDuring WWII, in Florida, she was a plane spotter as a young teen. She once owned a restaurant and retired from civil service for the government at the end of her career. She enjoyed many years as a member and president of the ladies auxiliary of the National City, California Fraternal Order of Eagles. She loved ballroom and swing dancing and was an avid bowler, winning many tournaments.\r\n\r\nMargaret "Jan" Chadwell is preceded in death by her parents Jim Clint and Osee Paul, her siblings Pauline, Marie, Wilene, Edith, Jimmy, Joel, Jerome and one grandson Bryan. \r\n\r\nMargaret "Jan" Chadwell is survived by her children Janet, Deborah, Paul, Colleen and her husband Luis and Tina and her husband Daryl. Her grandkids Jeff and his wife Angela, Mark, Katrina and her husband Jeremy, Luis and his wife Aprille, Alejandro and his wife Chelsea, Ben, Matt, Gabriel,Savannah and Skyler. Her great grandkids Maggie, Miley, Bryan, Brody, Edison, Aubree, Bailey, Reef, Isabella, Chloe and Mercer. \r\n\r\nMargaret "Jan" Chadwell passed with family at her side.
