Marcia Mulford

Marcia C. Mulford went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on March 2, 2015 at the age of 93 in Kerrville, Texas. Her husband Kenneth W. Mulford went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on July 22, 2014, also in Kerrville, Texas. They are survived by children Steven J. Mulford, Jo Ellen Frautschi and Michael A. Mulford, grandchildren Chelsea Loomis, Andrea van Kesteren, Bennett Mulford, Kenneth Frautschi, Kevin Frautschi, Kenneth C. Mulford, and Joyanne Krone, 10 great grandchildren. and her grand-niece Chandra Compellebee and 4 great nieces.\r\n\r\nThey were preceded in death by children Alan Craig Mulford, Guy L. Mulford, Jana C. Mulford and David Kelly Mulford, her parents Lee Everett Craig and Ann (Haislip) Craig and her brothers Lee Evertt Craig Jr. and William Byron Craig.\r\n\r\nMarcia and Kenneth adopted their other children in 1966 just seven months after Alan Craig Mulford was killed in Vietnam. The former Smith children had been orphaned and Ken and Marcia felt led by the Lord to give the family a home together. The remarkable decision to take on six children they had never met, four of them teenagers, can only be explained by their unswerving commitment to obey God and leave all the consequences to Him. This was indeed the hallmark of their life philosophy. They faithfully supported several missionaries throughout their lives. They also cared for several foster children and touched the hearts of many people.\r\n\r\nA memorial service to celebrate their lives will he held at the First United Methodist Church in Kerrville on 10 AM, Wednesday, March 4, 2015, officiated by Rev.
