Lyn Hamilton

Lyn Louise Hamilton passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at a Kerrville hospital. She was 81 years of age and a resident of Kerrville, Texas.\r\n\r\nShe was born August 14, 1937 in Tekonsha, Michigan to Dorothy Rice Hill and Milard Hill. Raised in a military family, she moved several times. In 1984 she graduated from Schreiner University. In 2010 she retired from Sid Peterson Hospital after 25 years of faithful employment as an LVN.\r\n\r\nLyn was preceded in death by her parents; her son Donald Edward Hamilton, Jr. and her two grandchildren Christopher Michael Odom and Kathleen Ann Odom. She is survived by her life companion Jerry Haun; daughters Donna Hamilton Odom, Debra Ann Miller, Linda Katherine McNeely, Lena Sue Hamilton and Diane Marie Halfmann; sisters Karey Jane Ziteck and Nancy; brother Gary Hill; grandchildren Michael, Jimmy Jon, Kevin, Susan, Sheena, Kathleen, Cory, Sammy, Erin Jo, Audra, Brian, Robby, Amanda, Robert, Jacob and Daniel Ray; 25 great grandchildren with another to arrive soon.\r\n\r\nVisitation will take place at Grimes Funeral Chapels of Bandera, Texas on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 beginning at 12 Noon followed by a service at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at Pipe Creek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial gift may be made to the Sid Peterson Building Fund in Lyn's name.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
