Lupe Ramirez

Guadalupe "Lupe" Alcorta Ramirez, 94, of Kerrville, Texas was called home to be with the Lord on March 8, 2015. \r\n \r\nThe rosary will be held at 6:00 pm, Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Grimes Funeral Chapels, Kerrville, Texas. A mass will be held in her memory at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Notre Dame Catholic Church, with Father Gustavo Montanez officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Kerrville. Pallbearers are Gilbert Gauna, Jr., Alfredo Ramirez, Jr., Mark Nisbet, Emmet Ozuna and Johnny Ozuna.\r\n \r\nGuadalupe was born in Hondo, Texas to Francisco and Amadita Alcorta on December 4, 1920. She married John Ramirez on September 16, 1950. She made her home and raised her family in Kerrville, Texas. She was a parishioner at Notre Dame Catholic Church. She lived her life as an example of faith and love for all.\r\n \r\nGuadalupe is preceded in death by her husband, John Ramirez, her brothers Hilario Alcorta and David Alcorta, and her sisters Concepcion Castro, Carmen Rosales, and Mary Ayala.\r\n \r\nGuadalupe is survived by brothers Indalecio Alcorta and Frank Alcorta, and her children, Gloria Ayala (husband Martin Ayala), Antonia Gauna (husband Gilbert Gauna), Horace Ozuna (wife Winnie Ozuna), Alfredo Ramirez (wife Diane Ramirez), and Silvia Garcia (husband Arturo Garcia). She was blessed with many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren who loved her dearly.\r\n \r\nThe family of Lupe wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all for their kind thoughts and continued prayers.\r\n \r\n[contact-form-7 id="73" title="Send Condolences"]
