Louise Goff

Margaret Louse Goff, 86, passed away Thursday, May 4, 2017 in a Kerrville care center. She was born on March 28, 1931 to John and Nina Sherman in Kerrville, Texas.\r\n\r\nLouise married the love of her life, Harvey D. Goff, in 1948 at First Baptist Church in Ingram, Texas. The two were married for 63 happy years before his death in 2011. They spent their whole life in Kerr County. She was a rancher's wife who loved to garden, sew and crochet. Above all else she loved her family. Affectionately known as "Granny," she cherished her time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.\r\n\r\nShe is survived by 2 daughters, Kathy and husband, C.D. McGehee and Terri Horton. 5 grandchildren, Mandy Tatsch, Melissa DeMasco (Tate), Robert Horton, Angie Tamburillo (Bryan) and Kyle Horton. 7 Great grandchildren, Cannon, Carlie, Colby, Ava, Gunner, TY, and Tenley.\r\n\r\nFuneral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Grimes Funeral Chapels in Kerrville, with Bro. Bill Moseley officiating. Interment to follow at Nichols Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 8, from 5 to 7 PM. Serving as pall bearers will be Robert Horton, Kyle Horton, Bryan Tamburillo, Tate DeMasco, Bill Woods and Bill Gray. \r\n\r\nIn lieu of flowers memorials can be sent to Arthritis National Research Foundation. \r\nArrangements are entrusted to Grimes Funeral Chapels of Kerrville.
