Lois Gabie Sisson Ellis went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at the age of 97. \r\n \r\nShe was born in Houston, Texas, graduated from Reagan High School, married Jack W. Ellis in 1940, and worked for University of Texas Dental Branch from which she retired. \r\n \r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband, Jack and her grandson, Justin Perdue. \r\n \r\nShe is survived by her three daughters: Sharon Ellis Smith (Ford) and Jacqueline Ellis Corwin both of Kerrville, and Suzanne Ellis Perdue (James) of San Antonio. She has five grandchildren: Steven Smith (Laura), Craig Smith (Stacey), Kelly Corwin Spillers (Kevin), Kari Corwin Walker (Darrin) and Jason Perdue (Alecia). She has ten great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She loved her grandchildren and spent many summers taking them to swim and fish in the Guadalupe River.\r\n \r\nLois was a master gardener and floral arranger who won many awards for her landscape and flower gardens. She was an accomplished seamstress and quilter and donated many hours to making scarves and caps for Dr. Barrington's cancer patients. She was also a talented stained-glass artist.\r\n \r\nMrs. Ellis was a long-time member of Trinity Baptist Church. She loved to sing and was a member of the Prime Time Singers choral group at the church.\r\n \r\nServices will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, January 26, 2018 at Trinity Baptist Church officiated by Rev.
