Lois D'Spain

On Saturday, July 18, 2015, Lois Marie Sehon D'Spain went to be with her Lord and Savior while surrounded by her children.\r\n\r\nLois was born December 20, 1925, in Beaumont TX. Ms. Lois or Granny, as she was affectionately known by many, was married to the love of her life, Wiley D'Spain, on May 11, 1950, in San Antonio, Texas. She grew up in Beaumont, Texas, and after graduation came to the beautiful Bandera hill country on vacation. Once in Bandera, she met Wiley and never returned to Beaumont except to visit. Bandera was "home."\r\n\r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband, Wiley Ray D'Spain, her mother and father, Ada and Clifton Sehon, and sister Natalie Davenport Brock.\r\n\r\nShe is survived by her son, Ray D'Spain and wife Susan; daughters, Kathryn Waclawczyk and husband Ray (or Wacy as he was nicknamed by Wiley), Dianne Grelle and husband Kenneth; nine grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Bonnie D'Spain Skinner; and numerous nieces and nephews.\r\n\r\nLois loved to spend time with her family, travel, shop, and play bridge. She was an active member of the Bandera United Methodist Church until moving to Morningside Ministries in Boerne 3 years ago. \r\n\r\nA Celebration of Life will be held Friday, July 24, 2015, 10:30 am at Bandera United Methodist Church officiated by Pastor Dennis Thompson. Lois and Wiley will be reunited and buried in the Bandera Cemetery.\r\n\r\nIn lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alamo Hospice (Boerne, TX) or the Bandera United Methodist Church.\r\n\r\n[contact-form-7 id="73" title="Send Condolences"]
