Lloyd Hunter

Lloyd Vaughn Hunter, age 71, of San Antonio, passed away at home on Sunday, September 28, 2014. He was born in Denver, Colorado to Wilson Vaughn and Mildred Nowell Hunter on January 22, 1943. He married Linda Ruth Bausch on January 28, 1965 at Bandera Methodist Church in Bandera.\r\n\r\nLloyd received an Associates Degree from San Antonio College. He worked as a services technician for Southwestern Bell and AT&T Telephone companies for over 30 years. He was honorably discharged from the United States Air Force. He served as the assistant scout master for Troop 940 of the Alamo Area Council Boy Scouts of America. Lloyd loved being at the ranch in Bandera where he could hunt, work in his garden and take care of things that needed repair.\r\n\r\nLloyd is survived by his wife Linda of 49 years, his sons; David Hunter,Guy Hunter and his wife Amy, daughter; April Kleypas and her husband, Jason, grandchildren; Katelynne Hunter, Bodie Kleypas and Zoey Kleypas as well as numerous extended family members.\r\n\r\nFuneral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 1, 2014, at Grimes Funeral Chapels in Bandera. Burial will follow at the Bandera Cemetery.\r\n\r\nIn lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.\r\n\r\n[contact-form-7 id="73" title="Send Condolences"]
